JESSICA PHILLIPS

Jess is a lawyer practising in our commercial law and commercial litigation team. She acts for clients across a board range of commercial matters with experience in civil litigation, regulation and handling complex disputes.  Jess is known for her clear communication, practical approach, and dedication to achieving the best possible outcome for her clients.

 Throughout her practice, Jess prioritises understanding each client’s individual circumstances, providing clear guidance, and ensuring clients feel supported and informed at every stage of the legal process. She combines thorough legal knowledge with attention to detail and strategic thinking to resolve complex commercial disputes.

In previous roles, Jess gained valuable frontline experience working as a trainee Court Registrar at both the Children’s Court and Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.   These roles equipped her with a deep understanding of court procedure and case management which she now draws on in her litigation practice.  Jess also worked as a Lawyer & Investigator at the Victorian Legal Services Board and Commissioner where she managed regulatory investigations and developed a deep understanding of professional standards, risk, and compliance.
